For those wondering why I seem t have so much free time, I'm pseudo-retired. By this I mean, it looks from the outside as if I am semi-retired but actually I have 2 businesses to run, a couple of family flats (holiday, and letting) and a few other bits and bobs. I work from home in general which means I don't have to commute, I can do my work when it suits me even if that is at 10pm and apart from weather dependent outdoor work on the smallholding I can do as I please.
This also means that, with laptop and internet connection, I can work from pretty much anywhere for weeks at a time (with someone at the Smallholding to deal with the dog walking fields. And now a word or two from my sponsors ...
Baymed Healthcare Ltd, first aid and medical supplies - the 'day job'
Dodside Dogruns - Secure dog walking fields near Glasgow for nervous, reactive and poor recall dogs, and owners
Aaaaand, welcome back.
So I've had to work today but the weather is pish so no bother. Went to B&Q and bought a cheap table saw and a few woodwork tools, got talking to one of the guys working there (Hi Davie, if you've checked in) who got rather excited at the photos and gave me a sneaky wee discount.
Later on the drawer runners arrived, all 4kg of them
and the very expensive m10x1.25 countersunk bolts to hold the floor down ....
Amount of actual building work done? Zero
